S. Venkataramana, aged 16 years started his pursuit of learning Vocal Carnatic Music at the age of four under the auspices of “Issai Mazhalai” of Sri. Ramji. He evinced keen interest to learn Carnatic Veena and Violin from the age of eight. He has performed in several prominent sabhas such as VDS Arts Academy, Giri Fine Arts and various Music Festivals including the prestigious Sri Syama Sastry National Music Festival held at Kanchipuram since 2017 in Carnatic Veena and Carnatic Violin as solo and also as an accompanist. He is a regular performer in various social media since 2020. He won the South India Zonal level Carnatic Veena Competition in 2016. He has also won 1st Prize in several International Online Music Competitions. He was awarded Sri Siva Subramania Baghavathar Silver in 2016, "Valarum Kalaignar" in 2018 and "Yuvashree Kala Bharathi" in 2019.
