Shriya Raja has been learning carnatic music for the past 9 years. She first started her training under Smt. Jothi Krishnamoorthy and Vidwan Shri TS Krishnamurthy. She is currently under the tutelage of Vidushi Smt. Sriranjani Santhanagopalan. She has won many prizes in several competitions including Saptami Foundation, Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, Sivan Fine Arts Academy and Sudhaarnava Academy. She has given concert at Tatvaloka, Chennai.
