Maya Santhanam

Maya has been learning music for the past 8 years, and is a student of Smt Vidya Kalyanaraman and has previously learnt from Sri Aravind Sundar and Smt Uma Moorthy. Maya is an active performer in the Chicago Area, and has given many concerts in and around Chicago and has also performed in the December Marghazhi Utsavam at Chennai . Maya has won numerous prizes in various competitions such as The Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, Chicago Tyagaraja Utsavam, Sivan Fine Arts, amongst others. Maya is 16 years old, and is a sophomore at Naperville Central High school. Maya also plays the Western Violin.
