Vidyaa is a passionate Classical vocalist learning under the tutelage of Sri Senthangudi Jayaraman. Since the age of 6, she started her basic training under Smt Uma Chandru and later started performing concerts at the age of 13. She was the semi finalist in ongoing AIR Podhigai Singing Idol competition conducted by All India Radio. She was also one among the performers in the prestigious Times Thyagaraja Awards in the year 2014, 15. She has performed concerts in various events in and around Chennai like VDS Arts Academy, Mikeless concert Korattur Academy NIT Trichy to name a few.
