The story goes that, the Pandavas along with their wife were residing in Naranarayana Asrama. One day, it was when Bhima and Draupadi were outdoors, enjoying the beauty of nature, when a divine flower with rare fragrance dropped in front of Draupadi. Quite attracted by it she requested Bhima to fetch more for him. After Bhima departs on his adventurous journey, he unexpectedly meets his stepbrother Hanuman and with his blessings gets the divine flowers. The encounter between the two step brothers the monkey chief Hanuman and the mighty Pandava brother Bhima, both sons of Wind God (Vayu) becomes the dramatical climax of the play.
