Hailing from a family with a traditional background and exposed to chaste classical music of past maestros from young age, Sri Krishnan was naturally attracted to Carnatic Music. In spite of being an engineer by profession and a senior leader in a MNC, he continues pursuing his passion. Sri Krishnan started learning Violin from Guru Coimbatore Smt. B Jnanambal. He continued to learn the art of Violin playing from Guru Smt. Lalgudi Rajalakshmi , Sister of the illustrious Violin Maestro Sri Lalgudi G. Jayaraman. Sri Krishna's style of music is notable for adherence to classism and right blend of intellectual and emotional aspects. Sri Krishnan continues to be a student of Music, learning currently under the guidance of Sangeetha Kala Acharya, Karnataka Gana Kala Shree Smt. Neela Ramgopal, one of the senior most and revered Gurus of Bangalore. Sri Krishnan feels proud to be the disciple of the octogenarian musician, who is considered as master of ‘manodharma sangeetha’. Sri Krishnan has played Violin concerts along with his Guru Smt Lalgudi Rajalakshmi. He has been performing solo violin, accompaniment concerts and lecture demonstrations at various venues and events.
