Srikrishnan hails from a family with cultural values and got exposure to chaste classical music. He was  attracted to the Violin and started learning along with his engineering education. In spite of his professional commitment  of being a senior leader in a MNC, he pursued his passion.

Sri Krishnan started learning Violin from Guru Coimbatore Smt. B Jnanambal. He continued to learn the art of Violin playing from Guru Smt. Lalgudi Rajalakshmi at Bangalore. He is currently under the guidance of Sangeetha Kala Acharya Smt. Neela Ramgopal. Sri Krishnan’s style of music is notable for adherence to classism and right blend of intellectual and emotional aspects.

Sri Krishnan has been performing solo violin, accompaniment concerts and lecture demonstrations at various venues and events.
