P. Monisha is the disciple of Kalaimamani Guru Sri. Binesh Mahadevan, Director of Akshaya arts. Under the guidance of her Guru she has been learning Bharatanatyam for the past 16 years.
She has staged her arangetram in the year 2012 at Bharathi Vidhya Bhavan. She has performed in many group productions of her Guru.In the year 2011 she performed in Konjum Salangai which was telecasted in DD Podhigai channel.  She has also been awarded as the best artist award In 2016.In Prayathnam exams she has completed level 4. She was the cultural secretary of the dance club in her college and have also actively participated in various competitions and has also organized many events.
