Eashan Krishnamoorthy is a rising sophomore at Rutgers University. He initially started playing western saxophone at the age of 9 and found interest in Carnatic music at the age of 14. He won several prizes in Carnatic Classical Saxophone and has performed in various organizations like Brindavana , TFAS , Triveni , SKV, Brundavani youth organization , Maragahazi Srivari Balaji Temple, NJ,Sruti Laya and in the Tristate area and Bengaluru. He started learning under Vidwan Sridhar Sagar. Eashan was extremely privileged to also learn under Late Dr. Padmashri Kadri Gopalnath. He’ is also blessed to be learning under the tutelage of sangeeta choodamani, Dr. Nagavalli Nagaraj.
