Apoorva Nagarajan is a Carnatic and Hindustani classical vocalist having trained under various eminent
gurus from the age of 5. Her most prominent gurus include Smt. Alamelu Mani and Smt. Lakshmi
Padmanabhan, while she has also extensively collaborated with Smt. Ranjini Narayanswamy in New Jersey,
USA. She has completed her Visharad Poorna in Hindustani Classical Music from Akhil Bharatiya
Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. She has also briefly trained in western classical music and can play the guitar.
She has given several solo Carnatic concerts, inclusive of Ragam-Thanam-Pallavis, in the eminent sabhas
of Mumbai and Tiruchirappalli. After moving to the US in 2017, Apoorva has performed in several temples
and music festivals across the New Jersey and New York area. Apoorva currently residing in Bangalore, tutoring several basic level students and obtaining advanced training under Smt. Revathi Sadasivam.
